Nature Conservancy of Canada included on 2020 List of Best Workplaces™ Managed by Women

The Nature Conservancy of Canada is being acknowledged for the role women play within the organization.

Esme Batten, the Ontario Program Director says of the workforce of some 300 across Canada, nearly 70 percent are women, adding 52 percent of their senior management also identify as woman.

She says the conservancy is proud to be included on the 2020 list of the Best Workplaces Managed by Women, adding the organization has been a certified Great Place to work since 2017.

Batten says they are all proud to work for an organization that values the contributions of women and the acknowledgement by a Great Place to Work® is a great testimonial.

A not-for-profit land trust it is led by Catherine Grenier, president and chief executive officer, and guided by a Board of Directors chaired by Elana Rosenfeld, CEO of Kicking Horse Coffee.
