New student leaders at ÉSC Jeunesse-Nord

By Rosalind Russell-

As in past years, student leaders will continue to make a difference at École Secondaire Catholic Jeunesse-Nord in Blind River.

Board publicist Paul de la Riva says in addition to her duties as CSC Nouvelon student trustee for the Algoma and Manitoulin districts, grade 11 student Mariska Lamothe will serve as Prime Minister of the Student Parliament at Jeunesse-Nord.

He adds she will be supported by Addison Bond, also in grade 11, who will hold the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

De la Riva says together, the two students will be responsible for representing the interests of students as well as overseeing the organization of activities aimed at promoting school spirit and school life.
