O’Toole removing a party member

Federal Conservative leader Erin O’Toole says he’s launched the process to have one of his MP’s kicked out of the caucus, for accepting a donation from a well-known white supremacist.

Paul Fromm made a 131-dollar donation to Derek Sloan’s campaign last August.

But Sloan says he had no idea that Fromm had made a donation.

And he adds the party let Fromm purchase a membership and vote in the leadership race.

Sloan says he’ll fight the attempt to boot him from the party.
