Raising funds for lunch programs at two Espanola schools

By Rosalind Russell – An Espanola pharmacy is partnering with a local church to help provide lunches to students at two local schools.

Remedy’s RX and the Espanola United Church are teaming up for the Brown Bag Program, which includes a bagged lunch for students.

Twice a month, members of the church make 50 bagged lunches with 10 going to AB Ellis Public School and the other 40 to Espanola High.

Remedy’s RX is selling tickets for a prize board in-store and adding their Dress Down Friday money to the initiative.

The prizes range from a gift basket to jackets to lottery tickets with the draw taking place Friday, December 23rd.
