Retired high school teachers collaborate on a children’s book

By Rosalind Russell – Three of Espanola High School’s retired teachers have been busy over the last year collaborating to make a children’s book called Tide’s Out.

Retired teachers Dean Riggs and Susan Morley wrote the primary with Robert Luopa doing the illustrations.

Geared to the younger ones, it is about two young boys exploring the ocean floor and finding its treasures after the tide had gone out.

The trio has already attended a couple of vendor sales adding the book is available for purchase just in time for the holiday.

Look for Dean Riggs on Facebook to order your copy.
