There is only one race so far for trustee on a local school board.
Incumbent trustees Lindsay Liske and Kathleen Rosilius will be joined by newcomer Reginald Simon for the English Catholic school board.
Incumbents Marie Murphy Foran is running for the Algoma board and Bob Clement for the Rainbow board, both English Public positions.
Rachelle Beaubien has stepped up for the French Public board while there is still no unofficial candidate running for the French Catholic board.
Trustees and municipal council candidates have until this Friday to put their names in the hat to run for the fall election.
