Sudbury police arrest man in connection to fatal fire

A 25-year-old man arrested in relation to fatal fire on Bruce Avenue in Greater Sudbury last week.

Greater Sudbury Constable Kaitlyn Dunn says detectives have identified at least one person believed to be responsible for the fatal fire that claimed the lives of three people.

On Sunday afternoon, they arrested the 25-year-old (Liam Stinson) and charged him with three counts of party to the offence of first-degree murder, party to attempted murder, conspiracy to committee murder and party to the offense of arson.

She says on April 11th, a 26-year-old woman was pronounced deceased on scene and a 50-year-old man and 33-year-old woman both later died in hospital

A 37-year-old man is receiving medical treatment.

Dunn says anyone with information is asked to call police or Sudbury Crime Stoppers.
