Timber Village Museum – calling on local artists and creators

By Rosalind Russell – International Women’s Day is next month and the Timber Village Museum in Blind River wants to host a collaborative art exhibit called Embracing Equity: A Celebration of Women through Art and History.

The museum is asking for local artists and creators to submit pieces, which can range from paintings to poems, posters, and even speeches to the museum to be part of the display to mark International Women’s day.

The pieces should focus on how women are celebrated and valued in everyday life.

Submissions must be made by March 1st with the display opening on March 8th and running until May 6th.

If you would like to participate, or if you have any questions, please contact TVM through email or call 705.849.3006.
