The United Chiefs and Councils of Manitoulin police service has a new staffer to take care of the books.
Director of Corporate Services for the UCCM Anishnaabe Police Taylor Sayers says Penny Roy-Corbiere began her new job this week as the new finance administrator for the First Nation police, which serves six First Nation communities.
She says Roy-Corbiere comes to the position with plenty of experience having worked for M’Chigeeng First Nation for several years as the community’s finance manager.
Taylor adds she also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelors in Public Administration and Governance from Toronto’s Metropolitan University.
