Warrior’s Path hosts successful gatherings focused on mental health

By Rosalind Russell – The Warrior’s Path hosted a school assembly, walks and hikes as part of its events in Espanola over the last few days.

Foundation publicist Pete Rodley says Jon Goulet, a former martial arts fighter, advocated for the importance of mental health through nature during his visits to Espanola High School and Ecole de Renaissance on Friday.

Rodley says Goulet also took in a hike at the Black Creek Sno-Trail with two bus loads of students as well as a presentation focusing on the students and the services available to them if they have a mental crisis.

He says the weekend wrapped up with a walk-through town supported by various local businesses.

Rodley says he and Goulet thank the community for their support and look forward to hosting similar events in the future.
