By Rosalind Russell – At last Thursday’s council meeting, Township of North Shore Mayor Tony Moor announced the decision to cancel all future meetings while the integrity commissioner looks into a number of complaints.
Moor had a public notice posted on Friday also indicating there will be a town hall meeting to discuss the ongoing complaints and investigations at the township.
Moor says there are multiple investigations underway by IC Tony Fleming, but no details will be released until they are completed.
He adds previous investigations have already led to the township going over $30,000 budget last year, and these new ones will only add more expenditures.
The town hall meeting will be scheduled in the near future.
