By Rosalind Russell – Elliot Lake has welcomed back a doctor for her elective.
According to the release, Dr. Michaela Kluke has returned to Elliot Lake to work alongside the other three doctors at St. Joseph’s General Hospital.
Kluke, who was born and raised in Elliot Lake, did her undergrad degree at the University of Guelph and returned north for medical school at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University.
She has obtained a position in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and following her elective, will take her newly acquired knowledge and skills there.
