By Rosalind Russell – The Elliot Lake Arts & Heritage Club is celebrating 50 years of being part of the community by taking a step, or two, back in time.
According to the release, a new exhibition exploring five decades of talent opened this weekend at their new location.
The exhibit, which will run until October 6th (Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm), will be unveiled today at their new facility located on Elizabeth Walk.
The exhibit called ‘Back in the Day – 50 Years of the Elliot Lake Arts Club’ utilizes 50 years of newspaper clippings, photographs, publicity material and awards marking its growth from its founding in 1975 and the many activities that took place throughout the last 50 years.
