By Rosalind Russell – A large contingent of runners who didn’t mind getting a little dirty, took part in the annual Mud Run at Boogie Mountain in Espanola on Sunday morning.
General Manager Tom Hutchinson says around 70 people took on the muddy, twisted five-kilometre obstacle course to test their mettle.
He extends a thank you to the Espanola Fire Department for making sure it was a muddying experience for the participants by bringing in their water tanker to make a fine mess of everything.
Participants received medals and bragging rights for their efforts.
