By Rosalind Russell – The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord has appointed Marie-Soleil Beites (MARIE Soo-lay Bat-tees) as Superintendent of Education.
Beites holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor’s degree in education from Laurentian University.
She brings over 20 years of experience in education, having developed strong leadership skills through her work as a school principal in both urban and rural settings within Northern Ontario’s Francophone minority communities.
Her appointment was effective this past Monday, September 15th.
