By Rosalind Russell – An Espanola man’s family needs some extra help and are looking for support from the public through a GoFundMe campaign.
Shawna Dubreuil has organized the campaign in support of her brother, Derek, who passed away last week following a diagnosis of terminal cancer.
She says the fundraiser has been set up to ease the financial strain the family is facing providing stability during such a challenging time.
She adds Derek was the father of two sons and his three adopted daughters, so family has always been a strong focus for him and his wife.
He was 52.
