CSC Nouvelon looks to fill school board trustee vacancy

By Rosalind Russell – With just a year left in the term, the French Catholic school board is looking to fill a vacancy.

During its last regular meeting, the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon announced the resignation of one of its trustees and the process to fill it.

Education Director Tom Michaud (MEE-show) says they need a school trustee to represent the constituents of Zone 7, which includes the municipalities of St. Charles, Markstay-Warren and French River.

This decision follows the resignation of Julie Allen, who had served as school trustee for CSC Nouvelon for seven years.

He says individuals interested in serving as school trustee for Zone 7 can submit a cover letter and a resume by Friday, October 17th.
