By Rosalind Russell – The numbers are in for the money raised in Espanola to go towards the Terry Fox Foundation.
École catholique La Renaissance in Espanola raised more than $7,000 for this year’s Terry Fox School Walk, tripling last year’s total.
Espanola High School raised over $1,700 and AB Ellis Public School raised $655.
The three schools hosted their various events the last week of September as part of the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope.
