By Rosalind Russell – Serpent River First Nation is hosting a job fair featuring local and regional businesses.
Chris Johnson, the band’s employment and procurement specialist, says they are presenting the fair in the afternoon with various booths set up, and will cap off the day with a dinner.
He says there will be plenty of booths with companies offering career opportunities, but it is also an opportunity to talk to local leaders about projects, other businesses and networking and more.
He says several companies including Pioneer Construction, Hydro One, Valard, Aecon and others will be in attendance.
Johnson adds the fair will be held on November 6th from 2 pm to 6:30 pm at the Lifestyle Centre.
He says everyone is invited, but they are asking for attendees to register.
For more information and/or register, call Johnson at 705 662 0959.
