Elliot Lake introducing new tourism advisory group

By Rosalind Russell – The City of Elliot Lake is seeking community members to be part of the Tourism Advisory Working Group and contribute as stakeholders in Elliot Lake.

According to the release, the group will meet about six times a year (in person or online) to discuss current tourism successes and challenges, workshop ideas for the future and keep track of the city’s progress on the Tourism Strategy.

The city will work together with local business owners, tourism operators, municipal staff, partners, including Serpent River and Mississauga First Nations to improve this important economic sector in the community.

Any interested individuals can either give the office a call or send in their letter of interest via email by the deadline of February 20th.
