By Rosalind Russell – The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord has appointed Sophia Bagaoui as its new Director of Communications.
Education Director Carl Dussault says with over ten years experience, the former student of the board has led initiatives at Carrefour francophone, including the expansion of early childhood services, as well as at Laurentian University (Office of Francophone Affairs and National Consortium for Health Education).
She has also worked closely with Place des Arts du Grand Sudbury and We Live Up Here.
Currently on maternity leave, she will begin her role in this August.
Dussault says they also wish to thank Marie-Eve Pépin for her work as she takes on new challenges at Université de Sudbury.
