By Rosalind Russell – With heavy rain over the last 24 hours, flooding warnings continue throughout the districts of Algoma, Manitoulin and Sudbury.
The Town of Espanola says a warning remains in place for Penage Lake Road with the Black Creek Bridge once more covered with water.
The Sudbury Conservation Authority says the Flood Warning remains in place for Middle and Lower Vermilion River watersheds and Lower Junction Creek watershed affecting several areas in and around the city of Sudbury.
All authorities recommend contacting local municipalities and band offices for updates on road closures.
