By Rosalind Russell – Elliot Lake Fire Chief John Thomas says there was a fire in the city on Wednesday and no injuries were reported.
He says shortly after 11 a.m., the Elliot Lake Fire Department received a 911 call for a trailer fire on Panel Mine Road.
Upon arrival on scene, the fire department crew reported two trailers on fire.
Firefighters were able to protect surrounding trailers and prevent the fire from entering the tree line. Both trailers were lost.
Thomas says the cause of the fire was accidental and is not suspicious in nature.
