By Rosalind Russell – Some 200 cyclists will be on the road on Manitoulin Island this weekend.
According to Manitoulin Cycling, this weekend, cyclists from across the country and overseas will be taking to the road on Highway 540 between Kagawong and Gore Bay, utilizing three different routes based on the cyclists’ skills, all part of the 13th Annual Manitoulin Passage Ride.
Proceeds go to the Manitoulin Island Cycling Advocates to support cycling amenities, programs, and development in local communities.
Motorists are asked to proceed with caution to ensure the safety of the cyclists along the route.
