By Rosalind Russell – Seventeen health sciences educators from across Northern Ontario, including a couple from Manitoulin Island, are being recognized by the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University.
The Commitment to Clinical Education Award went to physiotherapist Justin Small of M’Chigeeng First Nation while the Faculty Mentorship Award was presented to Dr. Frances Kilbertus, an associate professor hailing from Mindemoya.
An awards ceremony was held Friday in Sudbury.
