By Rosalind Russell – The Town of Blind River’s Timber Village Museum celebrated Ontario Trillium Foundation funding to install creative spaces on site.
Curator Ashley Young says the structures will not only protect artifacts, but create education spaces that are attractive, and built to last, and will be offered as part of the tours to students, residents and tourists alike.
The project was planned in consultation with Canadian Museum Standards.
Both Young and Blind River Mayor Sally Hagman and also thanked Dr Paul Campbell for donating over 100 hours to restore the crazy wheel, another unique local feature.
Additionally, Kevin Middaugh, Bruce Brisbois, and LA Trucking were thanked for sharing their expertise, equipment, and time.
