BHP makes donation to Elliot Lake hospital for much-needed equipment

By Rosalind Russell – BHP, which oversees the remedial work at closed mining sites in Elliot Lake, has donated to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elliot Lake.

The company has donated $62,203.85 to fund the purchase of medical equipment, including a tonometer, Omni hysteroscope, and a new microscope—tools that are essential for delivering high-quality care to patients.

The funding was presented by several BHP personnel earlier this month.
