

By Rosalind Russell – Blind River is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year and a local church has donated to the town to improve the playground at Sellers Beach.
The Anglican Church Ladies donating funding for the installation of children’s playground toys to mark the milestone.
If you have never done log birling, you are in for some fun, trying to roll a log and stay on your feet.
The site will have a swing set, log birling activity, as well as a historical engagement panel that will teach all ages about this fun activity.
The equipment is being installed with the assistance of several partners including PUC Services, the Royal Bank, ELNOS, Timber Village Museum and the town.
