Love hockey? The Old Mill Heritage Centre is hosting Hockey Days with past and present greats

By Rosalind Russell – It’s a couple of weeks away, but if you love hockey, you are going to want to take in Hockey Days on August 13 at the Old Mill Heritage Cente in Kagawong.

Not only will there be former hockey greats, such as former Leaf’s broadcaster, Joe Bowen, former NHLers Rod Schutt and Randy Carlyle and others, several of hockey’s most prestigious trophies, including the Stanley Cup, the Con Smythe, Norris, Four Nations and Canada Cup will also be on full display with their handlers, (yup, they all have handlers).

There will be two presentations, one at 3:30 pm, the second at 7:30 pm, and tickets are available by contacting the centre.

The exhibit itself also features everything hockey including the history of various leagues, jerseys of many hockey greats, including Bobby Orr, Martin Brodeur, John Tavares and many more.

The exhibit will run throughout the fall.
