By Rosalind Russell – The Anishinabek Nation is hosting the 4th Annual Anishinabek Nation Economic Development Opportunities Forum in Thunder Bay.
According to the release, this year’s theme is Unlocking Our Potential: Infrastructure, Investment, & Innovation.
The Forum will feature panels, workshops, and networking opportunities in key sectors and emerging opportunities in Energy, Mining, Agriculture, Tourism, and Revenue Generation.
A community tour of Fort William First Nation, a dedicated Networking Lounge for business development, and the opportunity to test-drive an electric vehicle are value-added features for this year’s Forum.
The gathering is set for October 20 and 21 and includes First Nation leaders from across Manitoulin Island and the North Shore Corridor.
