By Rosalind Russell – The Northshore Quilting and Stitchery Guild celebrated its 30th birthday on Saturday with a tea and quilt display at the Legion in Espanola.

The hall was packed for the gathering that also included a craft sale and fashion show.

There are around 50 members of the guild, which make quilts not only for themselves, but also to sell and donate to police and emergency medical services as part of their charity work.
