By Rosalind Russell – Anyone wishing to share in the spirit of the season can attend the annual Free Christmas Dinner hosted by The Lighthouse at the Espanola Royal Canadian Legion Brach #39 on Christmas Day.
The doors open at 4:30 pm and there is no cost for attendees, but donations are warmly accepted.
The annual dinner has become a tradition in Espanola in the last decade averaging around 150 people per sitting.
The volunteers gather on Christmas Eve to prepare the meal for the big day and others lead the annual Christmas Carols as part of the celebrations.
