By Rosalind Russell – Algoma-Manitoulin MPP Bill Rosenberg was in his hometown late last week to present funding for various local initiatives.
Rosenberg presented the Town of Thessalon its Ministry of Infrastructure 2025 grant of $803,000 for the Northern Development Servicing Project.
Another grant of over $940,000 provided through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation will help the town renovate its community arena and upgrade park playground equipment.
And he also provided over $50,000 funds for seniors and recreation programs.
