By Rosalind Russell – The Township of Baldwin is undertaking a project to update their rink, which will be able to be used year-round.
According to the release, the rink now in place will be demolished and a new one will be constructed in its place.
The demolishment starts today and the new facility is expected to be in place by the end of October, just in time for winter use.
They are asking the public to avoid the construction site during the process to ensure their safety.
It is the first major overhaul of the surface in over two decades.
