Wear pink for Stand Up Against Bullying Day

By Rosalind Russell – Staff and students in Rainbow Schools will wear pink next Thursday, September 11th, as the board marks the start of the school year with a focus on safe schools.

Board chair David Farrow says the board has recognized Stand Up Against Bullying Day for the last 18 years as a tangible symbol of keep schools safe.

He extends an invitation to all the public, not only the school communities, to also wear pink on that day.

We all wear pink as a positive message that our schools are safe and inclusive with a strong circle of support for all schools in the districts.
