By Leslee Salo – On May 26th 2023, NATT Safety Services trainer Darrell Cayen presented a 2 hour demonstration explaining the combustion process, variety of Fire Extinguisher types and their particular suitability in extinguishing different common classes of fires. Also included in the session was the opportunity to virtually put out a fire with indoor fire extinguisher simulator training unit. Session attendees learned that for Fire Extinguisher use P.A.S.S (Pull pin, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) was effective.
