By Rosalind Russell – The Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers is hosting a series of open houses focusing on Age Friendly and Accessible Planning.
Officials say they will be held next week in Massey, Walford and Webbwood where attendees can share their ideas at different stations that will focus on localized community needs within the individual communities.
There is also a survey available for those who cannot attend available online or paper copies at the municipal office, Walford post office and the libraries in Massey and Webbwood.
The ideas presented will be drafted into a document for presentation and more feedback from the community members.
The open houses are as follows: Monday, June 23rd between 1 pm and 8 pm at the Massey Area Arena: Tuesday, June 24th between 1 pm and 3 pm at the Walford Hall, and Wednesday, June 25th from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Webbwood library.
