LEGO at a whole new level

By Rosalind Russell – Just in time for summer, an epic LEGO replica of the iconic Chi-Cheemaun ferry has docked in downtown Owen Sound.

Created by local LEGO legend Ken Reid, the nine-foot-long masterpiece is made from 92,000+ bricks, includes moving parts, 620+ mini-figures, 50+ vehicles, and a full interior from gift shop to captain’s bridge.

The public can view it at the Tom Thomson Art Galley in Owen Sound.

Admission is by donation.

It will be on display throughout the summer.

Catch it all summer long at the Tom Thomson Art Gallery and Owen Sound Tourism, Events and Attractions Visitor Centre — admission by donation and perfect for visitors of all ages.
