
By Rosalind Russell – Hydro One has two planned power outages over the next two weekends for the North Shore Corridor.
According to the utility, the first maintenance power outage will be from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Sunday, July 20th.
A longer outage is planned for Sunday, July 27th when the electricity will be shut down at 6 a.m. and not restored until 2 p.m.
Over 5,400 customers in the North Shore Corridor will be impacted.
The areas affected include Cobden, Huron Shores, The North Shore, Thessalon, Mississagi 8 First Nation, Striker, Scarfe, Gould, Wells, Patton, Blind River, Grasett, Parkinson, Mack, Thompson, Thessalon 12 First Nation and Casson.
