By Rosalind Russell – Students at an Elliot Lake school stepped up and supported school programs last Friday. Our Lady of Fatima School Principal Andrew Chi says they hosted the annual Step-A-Thon, bringing students together for a fun and energetic day while raising funds to support the school’s extracurricular programs.
He says every student played a role by collecting pledges to participate, helping the school raise money with all the proceeds will directly benefit student activities and initiatives.
He thanks the families and wider community for ensuring yet another successful fundraiser for the school.
Top fundraisers were Liam P, Ana F, Juniper G and Aryihana R.
They will all receive personalized jerseys.
The lively afternoon concluded with a complimentary lunch and snacks for all participants.
The school extends its sincere gratitude to D.I.G. Excavation and Landscaping for generously donating the pizza that made the celebration even more special.
