By Rosalind Russell – Every five years Canadians provide Statistics Canada with invaluable information that helps shape the future growth of the country.
The next Canada-wide census runs from May to July.
Patrice Mathieu from Stats Can says the census collects demographic and socioeconomic information that provides the nation’s family portrait.
It also assists with elections, establishing programs and polling.
Currently, Statistics Canada is recruiting for more than 30,000 census enumerators across the country.
