By Rosalind Russell – A draft of the renewed Ontario Invasive Species Strategic Plan is now posted on the Environmental Registry of Ontario for environmentalists and organizations to review.
The renewed Strategic Plan aims to address the increasing and complex challenges posed by invasive species in Ontario.
Comments are welcome from the public as the final step before the plan is finalized later this Spring.
The draft Strategic Plan is open for a 45day comment period from January 9, 2026, to February 23, 2026
