By Rosalind Russell – Back on September 16, Dan Vanier, the owner of the Giant Tiger in Espanola, received the company’s 2026 Trusted Store of the Community Award at their annual Owner Manager Meetings.
He says he is honoured but adds that success would not be what it is without the support of his staff and the customers.
He says the award comes with a $2,000 cash award, which can be donated back to a charity or organization in the community.
Vanier says they plan to do something special with the funds and plans to release those details soon.
