By Rosalind Russell – The Town of Espanola has prepared a draft Climate Action and Adaptation Plan to help the community respond to climate change, protect infrastructure and natural assets, strengthen emergency preparedness, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

According to the release, businesses, community members, and all interested parties are invited to a drop-in Public Open House to provide feedback on the draft.

There will be two open houses, the first from 2 to 4 pm, the second 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 20 at the Rink-Side Auditorium of the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.

The draft plan is available for public review in person at the town officer or online at the town’s website: www.espanola.ca
