A future teacher in service of others and her community

The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon is proud to highlight the remarkable contributions of Charlotte Gilbert, a grade 12 graduate from École secondaire catholique La Renaissance (Espanola). Throughout her high school years, she has stood out for her genuine commitment to helping others, both within the school and in the community.

Aspiring to become a teacher, Charlotte demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, an exemplary sense of initiative, and a natural ability to build meaningful connections with those around her. She also completed a cooperative education placement with the elementary students at her school, where she was able to put her skills into practice and show strong leadership qualities. “I am grateful for my high school experience because it allowed me to build meaningful relationships with teachers and students who have shaped my journey,” says Charlotte Gilbert, a graduate of ÉSC La Renaissance.

Charlotte has a strong interest in the arts and culture, particularly music, and is actively involved in her community. She supports the Espanola United Church school meal program by helping prepare and deliver meals to students, as well as the Espanola Elk’s Club Christmas basket initiative to assist families in need. Her community involvement reflects her generosity and her desire to make a positive impact.

Next year, Charlotte will begin a Concurrent Bachelor of Education program in French at Laurentian University. The Lynx of ÉSC La Renaissance warmly congratulate her on her contributions to school life and wish her every success as she pursues her greatest aspirations.
