By Rosalind Russell – The Counselling Centre of East Algoma will be moving to a new location this fall.
According to Executive Director, Melanie Dell, the centre is moving to a larger space, which will allow them to host more programs and accommodate the growth of the services they offer.
She adds the centre assists an average of 1,500 people every year providing access to mental health services, care programs, and more.
Dell says the centre has expanded over the years and now serves, not only Elliot Lake, but the wider community from Iron Bridge east to Spanish.
Presently located on Oakland Boulevard, she adds the search is underway for a new location and more details will be released soon.
