By Rosalind Russell – Parents of Grade eight students are encouraged to take in open houses in the new year in determining if the schools are the right fit for the children.
Paul Henry, the education director of the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon says plans are already in place to host open houses at all the board’s secondary French Catholic schools.
He adds Blind River’s Jeunesse-Nord and Espanola’s École La Renaissance will open their doors at 6:30 pm on Thursday, January 12th.
He says the open houses will offer an opportunity to tour the facility, talk to staff and review programs offered by the board.

Take a tour of the school in January and see if it is a good fit for your student. Photo provided by Ecole La Renaissance
