By Rosalind Russell – There is curb reconstruction underway on the south end of Mead Boulevard from Second Avenue to the Queensway Avenue.
Dave Parker with Public Works says the curb reconstruction is being done due to some inefficiencies in the original installation.
He says the work does not interfere with the water or sewer systems.
Town CAO Joe Burke concurs adding the work related to deficiencies from the Mead Street reconstruction project from two years ago and that the Town is not paying to have it redone.
The reconstruction began just over a week ago and is expected to be completed soon.
