By Rosalind Russell – Two bylaw enforcement officers and a building inspector were officially welcomed by council Monday night.
Amanda Laurence, the Deputy Clerk, says Nichole Appleton has been appointed as a Building Inspector for the City of Elliot Lake under the Ontario Building Code Act.
She adds Stephen (Bruce) Elliott and Charla Shain have also been appointed as municipal by-law enforcement officers under the authority of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, the Provincial Offences Act, and related legislation.
The appointments are effective immediately.
