By Rosalind Russell – The Jays Care Foundation has chosen Elliot Lake as one of its recipients for supportive funding for 2026.
The foundation is distributing $2.6 million in infrastructure funding to 22 communities as part of the Field of Dreams initiative.
The announcement was made this past weekend, with more details to be released by the City when the foundation makes its presentation soon.
The Jay Care Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to improving mental health awareness and access to care across communities.
